1.THE BIGGEST MISTAKE PEOPLE MAKE IS STARTING A BUSINESS WITHOUT A CLEAR VISION AND GETTING STUCK..

• What do you actually want your lifestyle to be?

• Will you have kids and how will that impact your schedule? own houses and make decisions with the bank? Travel and work remotely? Would you rather work 2 big days or 5 small days?

• Because without thinking about that - you will do what I did, I created a business that was booked out, but burning me out. It made me unhappy.

• Our job is to build a business that aligns with YOU, your ideal lifestyle and your long and short term goals. Want to write a book? Travel the world? Get loans from the bank? We need to build around this so you have time flexibility and aren’t tying your time to your income. That is a recipe for burnout and hustle. We want ease and fun.

2. MISTAKE- PEOPLE CHOOSE CLIENTS WHO THEY THINK ARE WEALTHY OR WHO THEY NEED HELP BUT CAN’T ACTUALLY AFFORD.

• Who is your ideal client? This is based on a real person you have worked with that you would love to work with day in day out, that you know you can help get results with, and can actually afford you.

• Too many times people either choose clients out of reach and may go with a higher more experienced agency, or clients who you are passionate about - but can not afford your services (for example homeless youth). We can not help everyone, the government is meant to help those in need. But what we can do is create profitable businesses so that we can give back in better and more efficient ways - rather than low prices that leave you scrambling to pay your own bills. And if we are really passionate, we can always look at setting up a social entreprise.

• I want you to make a minimum of 10k months in profit and our programs show you how to do that with strategy, structure and emotional regulation ie. without the burnout and hustle!

3. MISTAKE - NOT CREATING A SHOW STOPPING OFFER.

• If you do not have a show-stopping offer, you will be outbid by people bigger and better than you, or cheaper than you. You need to craft something that solves multiple problems, and/or gives people what they desire that no one else is offering. You need to LEAD. When you lead, your clients and you both SUCCEED.

• So how do you create a one-of-a-kind business and offer? THAT IS WHAT OUR SPECIALITY IS. Look at your story and how you overcame the problem (because often your ideal clients are a past version of you), and look at your clients problems. For example, an antenatal psychologist who works with pregnant women recognises she can deal with the emotions, but maybe she could work with a sleep coach and a breastfeeding consultant to build out a one-of-a-kind offer, leverage each other’s audiences and build referral pathways.
