Psychosocial Risk Management is a Legal Requirement
According to WorkSafe Australia, employers have a legal duty to identify and manage psychosocial hazards in the workplace. Prolonged or severe exposure to these hazards can result in serious mental and physical health issues, including:
· Psychological harm – Anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and sleep disorders.
· Physical harm – Musculoskeletal injuries, chronic disease, and fatigue-related incidents.
